a Generation of Worshipers

Some friends of mine are going to Zambia on a trip to share music with orphaned African children.  Last night we took some time to pray over them, the kids, and the entire experience.  During these moments of prayer, I saw a picture of the significance of their trip, and the school of music they are going to support (with love, lessons, and instruments).

Here’s a little of that picture: My friends will be used to raise up a generation of worshipers.  Their time spent in at the music academy is incredibly important as they are teaching orphans to lead their country in worship, to lead their generation new songs of praise, and see purpose inside of themselves.

Some of the most marginalized people on the planet (orphans) calling nations and generations to praise the Lord… Wow!  This is a story of HOPE.  This is a story that is only possible when we see the potential in others no matter their circumstances.  I am so glad my friends have this opportunity.  We are in such great need of this gift of seeing potential and purpose (the image of God) in others.
